Memory & Vision Florence

I am delighted to share that my solo exhibition, Memory and Vision, has opened in Florence as part of the European University Institute’s 50th anniversary programme.

The exhibition inaugurates the newly restored Sala del Demanio at Palazzo Buontalenti, reopening the space as a new cultural destination within the city. Bringing contemporary photography into dialogue with Florence’s rich architectural and cultural heritage, the exhibition presents a new body of work developed in collaboration with Agenzia del Demanio.

Over the past year, I have been photographing a number of significant public heritage sites in Florence, exploring their histories, transformations, and continued relevance within the contemporary city. The series includes work made at Palazzo Buontalenti, the recently restored Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, and Caserma Redi.

This ongoing collaboration with Agenzia del Demanio has been incredibly meaningful to me. The opportunity to gain access to these remarkable sites and to interpret them through my own visual language has resulted in a body of work that explores memory, preservation, and the evolving relationship between people and place. I am particularly proud to see the collaboration continue through this milestone exhibition.

While Memory and Vision is not a selling exhibition, selected works from the series are available to purchase through my website as limited edition prints, with prices starting from £495 and editions limited to 50.

Please note there will be a summer closure from 1 July to 30 August.
